Since 1998, Brightneedle’s team of Ann Pettit and Liz Knudsen has been committed to bringing stitchers fresh, exciting needlework patterns in subtle color palettes that are a unique marriage of historical motifs and original designs. Extra care is taken to produce accurate and legible charts that also include information about the artistic origins of each piece. Although we stitch the majority of our pieces one-over-one, we design them so that they will look lovely stitched two-over-two.

Ann lives in the Finger Lakes region of New York and Liz resides in Virginia. They come together several times a year to design, often finding inspiration in the magic of a lifelong friendship.
